PowerShell for Implementation Engineers

I have been recently given a gracious opportunity to present a session at PowerShell Virtual Chapter and I am very much thankful to my Cajun friend Chrissy LeMaire and Aaron Nelson for this.

For those who do not know, this will be my first online presentation and it is going to cover a topic quite intriguing to myself, it is something that I love but I do not get to do as much as I want to :-).

The session title is “PowerShell for Implementation Engineers“, and the session abstract is:

For an integration specialist, most of your projects are limited to implementation and less administration. Implementations are mostly about delivering a scope of work and doesn’t give you much of space to actually grasp the power of PowerShell, again PowerShell is most effective for people who do day-to-day administration and live with the routine-tasks on a daily basis; on the other hand, for implementations combined with the GUI of a product will for sure leverage you to create your own framework. Join us in this session and we’ll open your eyes to the capabilities you’ve been missing out and we’ll give you back all those lunch breaks you missed ;-).

The session will be comprised of 5 main topics:

  1. Me no like code, I R Guwee
  2. KISS -> Keeping It Simply Scripted!
  3. In the depth of the code, becoming a PowerShell Interpreter.
  4. To write or to incorporate?
  5. Committing to the scripts.

So if you have 1 hour to spare on Wednesday March the 15th at 12:00PM EST / 07:00PM EET, please do join us by registering here.

I would like to thank you in advance for your time and support and for barring me throughout the presentation :-D.
