Pouring dreams into reality…

When contemplating about taking big decisions, as easy as it seems when it is in the thought processing phase, as hard as it gets when it reaches the execution phase.

I’d like to think of myself as a man of faith, especially when it comes to depicting the wisdom behind events and getting to realize more and more that “what is meant to be for me will inevitably end up in my path, what is not meant to be for me will never come to pass”.

After 10 years of nothing but success, vigor and a book full of stories that I hold dearly to my heart, it is the time to embark on a new challenge. As of the first of July I will be a full time employee at VMware [aka the mothership %)] as a Staff Consulting Architect for SDDC within the PSO (Professional Services Organization) and will be joining the reputable METNA team and will be based KSA/Riyadh.

Coming back to the wisdom behind things, I’ve had different proposals and various other opportunities that were ideal to undertake, however due to numerous reasons that popped here and there, those opportunities were being deferred, and honestly going back in to the chain of events that took place across the past two years, with of all of its sorrows, terrors and miseries, being in Lebanon was exactly the right place to be in, and for that I am grateful to Allah almighty for without his guidance, kindness and nurturing I would have ended in an abyss of chaos, forever Alhamdulillah :).

In the past 10 years that I’ve spent within ICC group, I have been treated as a member of the family since day one, I was given full trust and confidence to venture through a consistent journey of learning and accomplishment.  Words cannot express the amount of gratitude and respect I have for those whom my life crossed with within the group, those whom have paved the way and told me that the sky is the limit, and as much as it feels sad to detach from a place where you’ve belonged to for so many years, it is the time to carry that compilation of goodness in to the next chapter as it uncovers.

It was a bumpy ride to get to this point and I am both grateful and thankful to all of whom were involved in the process and bore with me all the way. I look forward to being part of the broader VMware community that is shaping the industry in the best way possible, and I am even more excited to be part of VMware’s METNA rockstars, to learn, to accomplish and crack all sorts of challenges that will present themselves along the way.

رَّبِّ أَدْخِلْنِي مُدْخَلَ صِدْقٍ وَأَخْرِجْنِي مُخْرَجَ صِدْقٍ وَاجْعَل لِّي مِن لَّدُنكَ سُلْطَانًا نَّصِيرًا

Lord, whereto Thou takest me, take me with truth, and wherefrom Thou takest me out cause me to go out with truth and grant me a power from Thee to help me.
