Top vBlog 2018: A Community KPI

When participating in a community, the most rewarding part is being part of the community lifecycle and actively participating in sharing the knowledge so that eventually someon’s life out there could be a bit easier, personally I have a faith that the ultimate goal of being a human being is to help each other.

For me the Top vBlog nomination and recognition is more of a high level KPI and I lean on it to see my community progress and if what I am generating is actually of value and whether I should consider shifting the content and this is not based the votes for my blog specifically, but rather on the entirity of the result as you would see the interest of the community through the vote results (ie. scripting blogs, storage blogs, networking blogs, etc.).

That said, if my blog has been helpful and you think my blogs deserves it , I would be very much appreciative if you’re willing to spend a couple of minutes to cast your vote (click on the image hereunder, and after you read the page (please do), at the bottom there s a vote button image which will redirect you to the voting page).

Process:

  1. You will be given the opportunity to select 12 blogs.
  2. Then you will order those blogs based on their importance to you.
  3. If I am the luckly winner of your vote then my blog should be placed as number 1 in terms of priority :).
  4. Also this blog is nominated for the Favorite Independant blogger category.

Thank you in advance for taking the time to read this and a big thank you for taking the time to vote :), if you’re interested in a briefing on how we performed together in the past couple of years:

  1. Top vBlog 2017.
  2. Top vBlog 2016.
  3. Top vBlog 2014.

I’d like to thank the caretakers of this initiative as it is definitley not as easy as it looks :).
