VMworld-ing: The Venue

Its a digital VMworld this year and similar to WFH (Work From Home), its more of an EFH (Everything From Home) these days, sadly.

For those who attended VMworld before, you know the rush and you know how busy the conference keeps you. You’re always on the move, you’re always mindful about what is happening in the different venues, this pace, and momentum itself is something missed by one’s physiology and not just mind.

What to do about it? Well, I thought now with the number of devices each of us as at home, why not VMworld The House? Well imagine that in the house (or office) each room or each space is a venue where you would attend a session, attend an expert lead session or even tinker with hands-on-labs for a new technology insight.

Suggestions?

• Start with the keynote from your laptop.
• Take the laptop with you or place a tablet in another room.
• Use your phone while doing a stretch.
• If you plan your sessions versus venues ahead, you should be able to get into the car, grab your favorite coffee and attend a session with a view while being in the car or out in the field.

There are alot of possibilities to bring VMworld with you where you go because of its digital format, with Digital VMworld 2020 this year, the venue is at your command ;-), don’t let doubts take a hold of you register and enjoy %).
