VMworld Europe 2017: Glossophobia Retired
For sometime I have been aching to write about this but becuase of work obviously and my committment towards the VCDX certification; I had to delay it a bit.
I would like to start by thanking Allah all mighty for his grace as without it nothing is possible, and then I would like to thank my second family CCi for their utmost belief in me and for their utmost trust which I cherish heavily, and also I am grateful for the VMware EMEA NSX Partner Channel for their total support and for their trust in CCi.
In 2017 CCi definitely prevailed in the region with the delivery of NSX awesomeness, and we had the chance to speak about this success at VMworld Europe, namely at PEX.
To be honest, I have spoken previously in local seminars and participated in online webinars as well but when I was in the state of mind that I will speaking infront of ~200 people in a room, the rush and anxiety and all of sort of fears dropped on me. It is not the sole fear of presenting in public, but it is the fact that I wanted to deliver the content and I wanted the audience to get it.
Delivering content on a stage is a big thing, not just because you want to start and finish successfully but because of the purpose! You want people to listen and get what you’re preaching and not just leave the room thinking that they wasted precious time on content that did not add to their thoughts anything.
One of the advantages was that we worked on the content that we wanted to deliver in terms of thoughts and ideas that we wanted to relay, and I was given the liberity to put those thought and ideas into my own words which gave me an edge when expressing on stage.
I will leave you now with ~9 minutes from the session “Practical Path to Building Your NSX Practice”, sadly PEX sessions are not public otherwise I would have shared the whole session as it was really informative for partners and shows how NSX is playing a crucial part in both partner and customer worlds.
Thank you for watching, listening =).
